When Jay arrived, he greeted him with his diplomatic charm which would help restore a client’s belief. In a very hospitable manner, Abhijit explained Jay the status of the work, the missing documents, time required to get it done and the compliances that needed to be done after incorporating the LLP. Jay was mesmerized with Abhijit’s mastery over the subject and repeated the same comment which Abhijit loved to hear. “We trust you Abhijit and for this care and attention, we refer so many clients to you.” Abhijit was more engaged mentally with his other work. He accepted the compliment with grace and thanked God for saving him from humiliation. He asked himself, “Am I the only person in this organization responsible for delivering the work? Why do I have to get into the details each and every time?” In contrast to his self-interrogating dilemma, Jay’s contentment as a client was clearly visible on his face. Abhijit assured that he would get the final deed ready to be signed the following day by 11.00 am. After this satisfactory meet, Abhijit felt relieved that at least something had gone well that day.
